Crowns are the currency at PopJoust They are awarded for voting on jousts, commenting on jousts, creating new jousts, having a comment liked, and getting votes on your joust. Your PopJoust Rank is determined by the number of crowns you have earned.

Scoring is as follows:

• Voting earns you 1 crown per joust
• Commenting on a joust earns you 3 crowns
• Having your comment liked earns you 1/4 crown
• Sharing a joust on social media using one of our buttons earns you 5 crowns
• Creating a joust earns you 10 crowns
• Each vote on your jousts earn you 1 crown

At a certain number of votes, you receive bonus crowns. The more you vote, the higher the bonuses get:

Your PopJoust rank goes up with the number of crowns you earn according to these rules:

• 50 crowns : Once you create an account at PopJoust, you earn 50 crowns and become a JoustAbout. Now can comment on jousts.
• 100 crowns : You become a JoustSmith and can create jousts for approval by a JoustMaster.
• 1000 crowns : You become a JoustSquire and can create jousts for approval by a JoustMaster. Jousts you create from existing Jousters go live immediately.
• 2500 crowns : You become a JoustKnight and can create jousts and jousters wihthout need of approval.
• 5000 crowns : You can be approved to become a JoustMaster, giving you approval power for jousts and comments.
